Our history has been delicious. But our future is even more appetizing.
In 1977, three good friends, all savvy women with a passion for the art of gathering people together to enjoy good food and good company, decided to turn that passion into a business. Little did they know the hurdles that lie ahead, starting with an early financial advisor who said, “Girls, you don’t want to work this hard.”
Talk about being even more determined!
In fact, these three “hot tomatoes” (as in sexy women, not “girls”) merged their voluptuous brains, their educated palates and their flair for success—and the rest is a luscious history. It’s a history of hard work, thriving through economic highs and lows, and the challenges that come with turning a vision into a reality.
“Our goal is to create a worry-free, delicious experience, so that you can simply relax, enjoy, and forget the details,” say Three Tomatoes Catering Co-Owners Joanne Katz and Peggy Beck. “After all, these special moments often are once-in-a-lifetime. Your guests should be able to walk away and know what a memorable and seamless event it was. For us, that’s the true measure of success.”
Proud as they are of their reputation as Denver’s premier caterer, they aren’t resting on their hot plates. Today, thanks to the contributions of many dedicated staff members and the entire management team, Three Tomatoes Catering is a solid organization that continues to grow and achieve brilliance with new ideas, new menus and new excitement. Everything fresh. From scratch. From the heart.
Our history has been delicious. But our future is even more appetizing.
